I am looking for a good alignment shop either on the peninsula or south side it doesn't matter. I have an 03 S Type R in Platinum. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Last years event was quite the show. As the time gets closer, I will put out a list of when where how.

If you guys are entering your cars, and want it polished prior to the show I wouldn't mind offering forum member pricing. Either that or I can just give you hell about your paint at the show

All, if you are interested in entering your car into the show (which you are more than welcome to do), just keep in mind that the people that enter this show are Jaguar specialists/purists. They will know your car inside and out and like to see the cars in showroom condition. Even silly things like painting some of the bumper chrome to make a Sport model out of your car they will pick up on in a hurry and while they won't shun you, you won't get talked to much. That is just my impression from last year. Gorgeous cars there, but you could tell by who was standing around the cars as to which ones where modified and which ones weren't.

Default Need mechanic in Suffolk, Va, Hampton Roads Va.

Dave, if you hear of anyone in Hampton Roads please make sure you post it here. I am in need and the budget will not allow a authorized Jaguar dealer to repair it.

Current mechanic is at wits end and wishing he never saw my car right now!

I just need someplace to take it and not have to worry about it.

I just took my car in to Abacus yesterday, and I'm going to have them fix all the issues I'm currently having with it. I had forgotten since taking my MINI there just how Jaguar-centric they really are! There were probably at least 8 Jags (not counting the 8+ that had weeds growing through them in their "Jaguar graveyard") there, in addition to two Rolls, two Land Rovers, a couple Triumphs, and a really sweet looking Astin-Martin! I'm going back on Thurs/Fri of next week to have them actually fix the issues I have. One of the parts that I have that's bad is very expensive, and he offered to buy it used for me - something the dealership would never do. My opinion is as long as it works, I can care less how long ago it came out of the Jaguar box!!!

I'll let you know after next week how things go with the actual repairs...

Default Abacus Racing - Virgo1979

Sorry Virgo1979, I completly overlooked Abasus Racing as with a name like that, I automatically assumed it was a machine shop/high performance shop. Until I googled it and found differently. After a quick phone call to them I believe I will be venturing over to their shop with my XJ8 in tow behind. Thanks, will keep ya posted.

Hello all, I am in need of some help for my son. He has my 1995 XJ6 in Va. and just got station at NAS Oceana back in April. He is only an E2 and is having problem with my car I was wondering if anyone can help by providing him/me with a reasonable repair shop to help get the Cat back up and running. if so plase call me at 904 588 5124 or him at 904 309 0180. Your help is greatly appreciated. I think it might be a fuel pump or the relay.
