Don't Miss The Jaguar Event! 05/04/14
A week to go until our 'Pride of Jaguars' event. Here's how I see it - either you went to Britain On the Green, or you didn't make it. Either way, you need your fix of Jaguars, and Jaguar people. Here's your chance.
Sunday, May 4th, 8:00AM to 10:00AM - East Market at Fair Lakes (Kohl's & Dick's Sporting Goods) shopping center. We already have 31 confirmed Jaguars attending - it won't be the same without you!
We will have giveaways for those bringing a Jaguar car. I will be at the lot early, and the area for Jaguars will be well-marked.

A Little APOJ History
Our first 'A Pride of Jaguars' (APOJ) event was held 5/19/13. The weather was overcast, and threatened to rain... but it never did rain. Even with the ominous weather, 14 Jaguars showed up. Rosenthal Jaguar surprised us by bringing over a pre-production F-Type convertible, well before they hit the showrooms. We had a good time.
Our second APOJ was 9/22/13. Better weather helped, and we had 26 Jaguars of all type in attendance. 11 of us went to brunch afterwards, and had a fantastic time!
APOJ III is Sunday, May 4th, from 8:00AM to 10:00AM. I currently have 31 confirmed Jaguars, and I expect more. This is an informal get-together. We will have giveaways for those who bring their Jaguar. For those who would like to, we will be going to brunch at The Blue Iguana afterwards - we have 15% off coupons.
Don't miss this!

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to make it. "Stuff" just hit the fan here at my work and I am going to be spending the whole weekend at work. I wish I could come as the meetings are always a fun time and we get to discuss how to clean parts inside the dishwasher and stuff like that. He he he he he he.

Join The Fun! Sunday, May 4th, 2014 Northern VA
There's still time to join the party this Sunday, May 4th, at East Market At Fair Lakes, in Fairfax, VA. I have 31 confirmed Jaguars attending, and I also have several more 'possibles'. It should be a good showing, and a beautiful day. If you like Jaguars, this will be the place to be.
Come meet old friends, and make new ones. See lots of interesting cars. What could be better? After the meet, which runs from 8:00AM to 10:00AM, anyone who likes can join us for brunch at The Blue Iguana. We have a deal with the restaurant to give us 15% off food at the brunch.
Please let me know if you'd like to come!

A Pride of Jaguars, 05/04/14 - THANKS!
Well, our third 'A Pride of Jaguars' event is in the books, and this was one to remember. Terrific weather, a great turnout, memorable cars & people. Everyone I talked to said they had a great time.
First, thanks are in order... We had 36 Jaguar cars there today, as well as a couple of Jaguar owners in other vehicles - a Porsche 928, and a 50's-era Thunderbird, for instance. Thanks to everyone for showing up - it made for a great day! Second, a BIG thanks to JaguarForums.com, and JimC64 in particular. The forum was nice enough to send me a banner, and to send over 2000 emails, asking people to come on out, as well as a sheaf of JaguarForums (not bumper) stickers. I have not seen this kind of assistance from any other car forum I deal with, and it is appreciated!
I also want to thank Mike Dorsey from Curry's Auto for providing discounts to the first 25 cars to arrive, and to Darryl of Odds & Ends Detailing, for donating a 25% coupon for detailing services. Thanks to Andy Bryan from Chantilly Jaguar for bringing the red F-Type. And thanks to The Blue Iguana for providing us a discount on brunch. A dozen or so Jaguar people extended the event by doing brunch together, and it was a nice time.
Finally, a sincere 'thank you' to Dr. Dave R. I have known Dave for a couple of years thru our local Cars & Coffee events - he's a nice guy, and since last year, an XKE owner. In casual conversation earlier this year, Dave mentioned he had seen an XJ220 while looking at a friend's cars. When I asked if he could convince the owner to bring it, Dave said he'd try. Well, Dave not only tried, he succeeded! It's the first time almost everybody at the event had seen one in person! Thanks very much, Dave!

Bob,
Thanks for all your time and energy organizing yet another splendid turnout for the local Jaguar enthusiasts!
Here are a few shots I took of the event, and the appearance of the XJ220 was definitely a treat for all. And Bob Williams Lister-Jag is just amazing...the build quality and attention to detail is immaculate!
