Default Northern Virginia Jaguar service shops?

For those who live in Northern Virginia, where do you get your jags serviced? Has anyone used Topline Jaguar (Jaguar Auto Repair VA, MD & DC - Top Line Jag 703-455-5190) in Springfield before? Thanks!

goblue90, if you don't mind a little bit of a drive and want to get to know your car better, give me a call. We can do most of what you would want done to your car at my place. That way you can be involved and know the job was done correctly. As for the shops up there, can not speak about any of them as I have not heard anything positive or negative about them.

If you do not mind driving to Odenton, MD, I have used English Auto to swap an engine in an S-type (one of the few things I am not equipped to do myself). They did excellent work and their pricing is better than the dealer.

Thanks Thermo! I've actually done most of the mods on my Pathfinder myself and wouldn't hesitate to work on the STR with things like brakes, suspension work, general maintenance (oil changes, brake fluid flush), etc. With that said, it's always better working on a vehicle with someone else so I may take you up on your offer. The only thing I think I'd want a shop to do is the pulley install...

No problem! I've used PTuning in Manassas for dyno pulls and today's installation of lowering springs.

1) I would stay away from Rosenthal Jaguar of Tyson's.
2) I reached out to Topline in the past, the owner responded once requesting additional information from me and never followed up.

Good luck and welcome to the DMV and Jaguarforums!

You have the option of the Jaguar repair shop in Chantilly VA and one in Leesburg VA. Northern Virginia is a big area can you give me a better location? Chantilly Jaguar is also on the list ask for Caroline.

Hi Goblue,
I have used Top Line Jaguar for large(Tensioners, water pump, Thermo housing) and small items(vacume "T" and speed sensors). Found them to be very good and resonable. They have gone out of their way to make owning a '97 XK8 since Nov. of 2010 a pleasure.

Are you looking for dealers or independent mechanics? I think I've found a good guy in Kensington. He recently acquired a transmission shop business and turned it into Jag and Land Rover service. So far he's done a good job on my speed sensor issue ABS/DSC. The mechanic's name is Hasi. Prestige Auto Perfromance and ATI Auto Service. 301-942-0383. 3840-2 Dupont Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895. Apparently he worked for the head mechanic at Manhattan. You can let him know that Harry referred you to him.

Dealership in Bethesda/Rockville is Manhattan Auto Jaguar and Land Rover
