NoVa/DC/MD get together
Hey all, the weather is starting to get nice and people are looking to get out and do things. With this in mind, looking to get a bunch of us together to hold our own little car show in a restaurant parking lot on a Sunday (noon to ?????) so we can put some faces to names and check out a bunch of other Jags. If we can get a lot of people interested in this, the plan is to start doing this periodically, with the intention of moving around DC to get a slightly different crowd at each one. The first one is looking like it is going to be in Tyson's Corner. So, look at the options and give some feedback so we can get the most people involved.
Restaurants: Patsy's Restaurant on Leesburg Parkway in Vienna (just off of I-495) or BJ's Restaurant on Leesburg Parkway in Vienna (these two restaurants are less than a block apart from my quick look).
Days. May 7, May 14, or May 21

1) Thermo and Grayson (16 XJL) May 14 at BJ's (but any weekend works).
2) Eliot Brenner (‘03VDP) May 21 is my only opening now with a shot at coming from far away Annandale: future dates/locations possible/BJs or Patsy’s just fine.

ScanMan, wish you luck on the ride. I came close to picking up a '68 420 Jag. the price was good, but had to drive up to upstate NY to get it. I also don't have a garage that would support working on a car like that. But, would have been fun. see you at the next get together. Should be getting it planned here shortly as the summer is flying by.
