Joe - Go Illini !!!

I'm just outside of Decatur and I've been dealing with Peoria. Honestly I can say they are a fantastic bunch as I've had nothing but pleasant and wonderful experiences with them.

In fact, that reminds me....I need to call and schedule an oil change !

OK J66, thanks for the input. Peoria sure is alot closer. I'll give them a try. My problems are a bit more involved than an oil change, but I'm happy to hear a good report.

Thanks

LOL Joe....well i do need an oil change, but the poor car did have an issue right after i bought it. The navigation module wasn't functioning properly, so a replacement module was ordered and scheduled. Once that went in and they spent some time testing it out, they discovered that the new Nav module and the stereo module didn't wanna play nice together. They then ordered a new stereo module and installed that, tested everything, and even did the re-authorization for my Sirius. While they had my car, they gave me a loaner to drive.....for the duration of the service, which ended up being nearly a week !

Default Purchased 2007 XJ Vanden Plas

I just purchased a 2007 XJ Vanden Plas and just love it, already own an 1995 XJS convertible but we have a problem here in St Louis, The long time jaguar dealer Moore Jaguar declaired bankruptcy and I have no place to purchase parts from. Does anyone have a place on line that you can buy OEM Jaguar parts cheap and trust them.

Default Nalley in Atlanta, Tom Woods in Indy

The forum has a sweet deal with Nalley Jaguar of Atlanta GA. Free shipping on orders over $50 and a discount to forum members. I've ordered from them, they were easy to work with over the phone, shipped fast, and had great prices. Since they support the forum, I mention them first.

I have also had personal experience with Tom Woods Jaguar of Indianapolis. They also honored the forum's discount, but since I was in town, can't testify to the shipping policies.

We S-type owners got lucky as Ford worked on world cars, many of the Lincoln LS parts crossover to our cats. Never looked to see if there were any XJ parts that crossed over.

Hope this helps,
Joe

I hail from Beecher, IL. It's about 40 miles south of Chicago.

I have yet to get a Jag, but I'm looking at a '95-'97 X300 xj6.

It's slim pickings right now on CL.

It's probably slim pickings because they're wrapped up for the winter. My XJR is, while it gets a reinforced diff, bigger brakes and new faster shifting transmission solenoids

Or nobody wants to give their Jag up.

I've found some nice xj6s, but they are out of my price range.

How is your 2004 Jaguar doing - is it a daily driver and have you had any service issues. Since I am here by St Louis we are limited to service because are only Jaguar dealer went bottoms up, so looking for Jaguar service dealers. Is there a dealer in Bloomington?

There's no jag dealer in Bloomington, but there is one about 40 miles NW of Bloomington in Peoria.

Welcome Belac. I'm just outside of Decatur.

AFI - Jaguar of Peoria is who i've dealt with, and honestly they've been completely wonderful.

J66,

Howdy. I'm in Decatur now, but lived in Blue Mound for years. Originally a farm boy from out south of Boody.

I've only had mine for about a week, but so far so good. Well, aside from the same "Air Suspension Fault" error code everyone else gets and a problem with the HVAC. Those are going to be looked at by the dealership next week though.

And, Skidz is right. Only one local is in Peoria.
