Is anyone up for a meet in Schaumburg, by woodfield mall or in the City?
It be nice to see all the Jags show up and have some real comradery. Whether its a X Type or the new XJ, it'd be a real great idea to have all the locals meet up in the Windy City.
To get some Chicago Skyline pics with all the Jags would be tremendous if we met up downtown.
There's a lot of lurkers viewing the pages, step up and lets all meet up!
Anyone else got ideas for what we could do?

So thats 3 people so far, including me that are willing to meet up.
Anyone else want to meet up? I wanted to do the summer clean up on the car too so it makes this meet perfect.
The weather has been iffy and kinda depressing. I'm not sure of your guys schedules, but maybe a Sunday coming up, end of May, June?
Come on guys, just post up and we can make it work for everyone.
Lets get at least 10-15 people?

Glad you are back armyjag
My car is also back on the road after a 2 month long hiatus while I replaced the brake master cylinder.
Is anyone going to the British car field day on Sept 12th?
http://www.britishcarunion.com/
I'm signed up to show my Jag so I'll be there all day with the Jag (or the MINI is the Jag is KO'd).
I went last year and there was a great mix of British cars there, about 500 in total.

Western Suburbs
Hi all. I'm in Downers Grove.
I've had my 2004 VDP for about 2 years now and have learned most of what I know about Jaguars from the generous people on this forum.
This is the first time I've looked around the MW forum.
Has anyone ventured to the Downers Grove car nights?
They always have a European night. There were quite a few Jags there this last summer.
A few nice classics too including a 67' e-type convertible.

Purchase of S-type Cat...
Looking to purchase S-Type - I'm in Chicagoland and will also be looking for tech support and all service manuals - I am assuming these are available and NOT the aftermarket manuals.
Focusing on purchase of the 4.2 liter version or R version
Comments, and advice appreciated
TIA
