Well went there, they hooke dup to each of our ECU's and they are the same so all you 4.2 Superchargered guys should be ok.

They are going to see what is the best possiable way to tune them, from hard shipping or going in and able to read the program.....

More when be updated when they let us know, but IT CAN BE DONE!

Dyno day and prices will be posted once we figure out what it will take to get them tuned.....

N/A V8 cars will be no problem as they have the files already

I love it ! Im Gunna guess after its said and done i "think" the car should pick up 50-60hp

1.Upper & lower pulley
2.Custom cold air intake
3.Exhaust system ( custom or MINA ? )
4.Lower temp. thermastat
5.New fuel filter ( the most overlooked)
6.Custom ported supercharger
7.Water wetter ( extra cooling additive)
8.Custom Dyno tune

50-60hp gain (my guess)

I would say its kinda of a safe bet.....Off the self tunes say they go from:

S Type R
400hp @ 6100rpm to 435hp @ 5900rpm
408tq @ 3500rpm to 488tq @ 3300rpm
155mph top speed to 169 mph

XJR 4.2
390hp @ 6150 to 425hp @ 6100rpm
400tq @ 3500 to 479tq @ 3300rpms
155mph to 165 mph

These numbers where pulled from Eurotek's website who is a Jaguar tuner as well, and seems to have good rep.....
They also seem to fall in line with Eurotoys "results" as well....so maybe they all use the same "tune/reflash"

So with a custom dyno tune with all the mods we are throwing at our kitty cats I am hoping to see some decent rwhp, and rwtq numbers.....

yeah, I would say that's a very safe bet, or at least I hope it is...upper and lower pulley alone is said to add 50-60 hp

20 whp is very possible from an ECU tune for a STOCK car, as there is plenty of room to make the mixture leaner; this is where you get the most power from.

Once you alter the boost (increases heat of course) and due to the faster spinning eatons which also generates extra heat, you need get a special tune for you car. The ECU already adjusts to some degree the ignition itself to counter the heat , but it still assumes the rich mixture, so imho don't go to lean with higher boost than stock.

There is a reason that the stock tune is what it is. It is emissions/gas mileage/reliability. Now if you tune for Hp instead of emissions you will see a gain. but there is a fine line between what it takes to meet emissions and what it takes to keep the motor/drive train in 1 piece. For a supercharged car there is more to play with, because they are built to take more heat and pressure. Most car lines now a days put more than one govenor on the drive train. exaust restrictions is one. our "r" s have one hell of a restriction before the cats. It is the way the exaust comes off of the manifold. real bad with 2 90 degree turns before going to the first set of mufflers. You have to think of any motor as an air pump as that is what it trully does. Any restriction intake or exaust that limits what the motor(air pump) can push is the first thing to fix. Once you fix that then and only then can you proceed to make the air pump push more air (internal mods or more boost).
