I think they are just really busy. The shop organizes and does dyno/tuning days all over the country, so the tuner is often gone alot of the time. We should know soon though. Maybe we should of given them a date, but we told him we weren't in a big hurry. Late spring/summer

Is anyone worried about their transmissions? The stock ZF is only rated at about 444 foot lbs. of torque. It sounds like the tune alone might bring these car up to around 470.

it's not looking good. I was at the shop over the weekend talking to tony, and he found a place that sells the software so that he can tune cars, and it's very expensive, like 10-15k. So he doesn't really want to buy it because the demand isn't enough...sorry guys...but this may be a no go

http://www.cmdtec.it has soft/hardware for about 5700 euros, have they checked with them? Only drawback is they only support the 4.2 engines and up.

I am not in favor of remote tuning, but I know a good tuner in the UK, that could do this, I am sure they can do a mild tune (would not go aggressive) with the listed mods one has, this would cost about $1000 (that would include also a speed de-limiter for track use of course ;-)). You would need to send your ECU though...

It might just come down to sending it out.....It sucks as each car is different.....but it still is a gain......Would they have different tunes for each different mod? or is it just a basic tune?

5700 euros is still over $7k. I don't think they want to spend that kind of money for a handful of tunes, they know the demand would be low.

@budsang1
They could do much more brands with this software, just have a look at the car list.

@Riski,
Can ask what they would be willing to do, They have done so many cars, that some mods will be easy to take into consideration like a smaller upper pulley for instance, so I do not doubt that that will be an issue. Let me know if you are interested, and also the mods.
