Local car shows upcoming next 2 weekends
Saturday September 19 9:30-3 Sunflower fair car show La Porte, Indiana. This is a fun local get together where we have shown Roger a few times, This year I plan to try to show Roger and MoneyFunnel
Sunday September 27 8a -3p Wanatah Scarecrow festival Car Show, Wanatah Indiana. This is a fair sized show I would estimate at about 100 cars last time I was there. Again, I plan to show Roger and MoneyFunnel
registration to show is $15 at both shows with plaques and door prizes.

pics fron the show
Heres a couple of pics from this weekend. It was very rainy all night and had only stopped about 30 minutes before- as we left the house. It was a good show though with several cars almost as good as mine.... I might ad that I was a bit concerned we would be it beyond the hosting clubs cars since we got entry numbers 1 and 2. MoneyFunnel turned in a good showing and Roger did not rebel in jealousy. I was happy on both counts.

Nice pics, Jerry: thanks for sharing! Question for you--are you allowed to not show a front license plate in Indiana? We are supposed to here in Wisconsin, but I would like to the Jaguar bumper insert instead. However, I'm not keen on getting pulled over… I'm wondering of the police would bother.
Thanks!

Scarecrow fest is done, and we all lived through it again. Roger and MoneyFunnel both went and we were met by my folks and their 48 Plymouth and my uncle and aunt with their 70 Stingray. None of us won any awards which is good because I'd hate for them to be jealous. There were a total of 208 entries. 3 of them were of English origin and 1 was a Mini. I was a bit surprised not to see any other Jaguars, or even any of the local MG contingent- I know they're just thick around here. It was fun and we all drooled a lot over the fat fenders and the Muscle cars.
