Default North East Ohio

Any other members in Northeatern Ohio? Would like to here from ya. Also, there is a really good car show coming up in Akron. Stan Hywet hall sponsors the Father's Day classic car show. It is this Sunday, the 21st. There is everything from the classics from the 20's and 30's too significant modern cars, and all inbetween. It is pretty cool to see a 60's Ferrari, a 30's Duesenberg, and 70's muscle all in one location. And yes, there has been the occational Jaguar there as well.

JOsworth, I just drove through that area today. Flew on down I-80/76. I was visiting relatives in NW Ohio. Keep an eye out, I am thinking about getting a G2G in the DC area for the members. While it is a few hours drive, hopefully we can get a decent group of us together. I will keep you informed.

Jeff-I joined forum Dec. '09...I was shopping for a factory service manual for my recently acquired '02 XJR...prefer the old fashioned paper vs CD version if available...if anyone out there has info/opinion on service data for that model contact me at jagmack@basicisp.net thanx...Dennis.

Hi, I see you mentioned Cleveland Jaguar in one of your posts. I have an appointment for my 50,000 mile service on my 05 XJ8L. They did the 40k for me while it was still under service contract and did a good job. We'll see how they handle things when I have to pay the bill.

Ron,

Hi Ron, I've been bad and not checked this thread.... Nice to see someone else in the area. So, have you gone in yet? If not, be sure to say hi to Mike, Rob, and Lucas for me. They should do you right.

Hi Jag_Dan. If you are still watching this feel free to PM me. I can give you the low down on Akron since I live here. Here are some basics... real LOW cost of living, pretty good neighborhoods if you know where to go, questionable schools, very close to anything you would need.... Hey if you are in the market for a house maybe I'll sell you mine......

I am from Erie PA and have a 1996 XJ12 which has been sitting dormant for a couple of years. I am looking forward to tinker with her soon tho.

Firts up some wheels and tires which hold air.

I don't have a local garage. I do all my own work. I have a scanner but I don't think it will read any ABS faults. Have you posted your problem in the S Type section? Shoot me a PM, maybe I can help.
