2014 XF 3.0AWD Sport in Waukesha. I put about 550 miles a week on her so I'll let you know what a high mileage XF costs to operate soon enough.

Hi Wisconsin Jaguar owners. Any recommendations for Jaguar repairs in Madison? I'm curious if anybody in Wisconsin has a PDU/WDS that would work for a 1995 XJ6 to do TPS and O2 adaptations, as well as remove auto-lock feature. thanks.

HI madijag:

When I lived near to Madison, I took my car to Madison Automotive on Post Road. I think it was off Fish Hatchery on the south side. The owner's name is Troy. There's also Phoenix Foreign Car Service. I remember that shop as always being quite busy and mostly doing older Volvos. Good luck! Scott

I've also taken my XK8 to Troy at Madison Automotive for a new fuel pump. Was very happy with his service. I actually called Phoenix first and they referred me to Madison Automotive because they had quite a back log.

Hello from Madison. Just picked up a XK8 to replace a Range Rover (did not get enough punishment).
A neighbor has 8 Jags and likes West Town Monona Tire
Pat Slatterly in Verona has worked on my Maserati and Alfa for many years and
does Many Jaguar as well.

He Ha Chris you and I have same car same color.

Main fix I need to figure out is the interior light / garage door panel falls out when you go over bumps -- the panel looks ok but does not fit -- maybe only go on smooth roads LoL ... well this is going to be my daily driver so I plan on being here often .

Wave if you see me on the road

Default My Automotive Repair Source

Hi All,

If you live west of Madison and need a competent mechanic that is knowledgeable of Jaguars, I recommend Specialty Auto Inc. in Arena, WI. 608-753-2549.
I have had them work on my 2004 XJR and have been quite pleased. I used to work on my cars when I lived in AZ (Dad's shop and tools) and I don't have that "luxury" any more. Specialty Auto was very fair in pricing and I like the 3 year/ 36K warranty they offer. Kyle (mechanic and owner's son) is into foreign cars and in talking with him reads up on various issues with Jags. As you can imagine, he is meticulous in his work.

Default Concours D' Elegance Elkhart Lake

Hi All,
Are any of you going to Elkhart Lake this coming weekend for the Concours D' Elegance? Vintage race cars, including many E-type Jaguars, along with some amazing cars. Friday evening has a parade of sorts from Road America to the downtown area of Elkhart Lake. Really fun party like environment. I make the drive up there from Milwaukee every year.

Unfortunately not gonna be able to make it up there. Good to see a fellow Jag owner in Milwaukee though. If you ever see the Caesium blue XE-S downtown, that's probably me.

Would have liked to but things got in the way. I will be there for the Sept 13th fall vintage festival though. Does anyone recommend that?

Both are good and worth the drive. I will not make it this weekend, there is another big show up in Appleton this weekend for us old people with old cars. A bunch of us from the Fox Cities British Car club will be there.

I will be at the Sept vintage festival, we drive down every year for that one. Specifically for the Concours. https://www.vscda.org/events/gather-on-green/
