We are getting the above trouble code in a car where we recently replaced the timing chain assembly. The repair was done as a precaution, but the guides were beginning to crack. Since the repair the engine surges at idle. The code reads as a lean right bank. A smoke test showed no vacuum leaks. Overall performance is fine. The car is a low mileage 2001 with only 39K miles. It seems to me that the MAF sensor or throttle body would not cause a lean mixture on one bank. We have all the correct tools to keep the cams and crank in position. Any suggestions ?

I recommend posting TECHNICAL questions in the relevant MODEL forum:

One of the major benefits of our forum is it's International. Apart from reaching a wider group of members with relevant knowledge in the Model forum, there's always someone awake and logged in somewhere around the World so you are likely to get a faster response.
