All, I will be coming into the area and there has been some interest in getting a group of us together. So, it is looking like at 6 PM on May 4th (Thursday). we are going to meet either in Chester, PA or Reading, PA. If you are interested in coming, let us know. This is going to be more of a meet up in a parking lot, talk cars for a bit then go in and have a meal together. What else may be in the works will depend on who shows up and what things they may know we can do. Not knowing either area at all, I am always open to ideas of where to meet/eat or other places to get a group of us together to spend an evening talking cars. So far it is looking like there will be 3 of us there.

Unfortunately, doesn't look promising for me. We'll be at the Children's Hospital with my little (not so little anymore!) guy on the 2nd and 3rd, but I'll need to be be back in Scranton on the 4th.

Reading Pagoda is often a location for car meets. The road to the Pagoda is used as a hill climb race course.

STypeR, just because you don't have your jag any more does not mean that you are out of the meet. If you want to come, by all means come. The more the merrier.

All, it is looking like the popular vote is Reading. I am going to see what I can find in the way of restaurants in the area and then see if one may be willing to block off say 6 spots for us so we can all park together. I'm sure it will be in the back of the parking lot, but that will probably be for the better. So, keep an eye out.

 

The meeting place is going to be the "3rd and Spruce Grill". It is located at 238 S 3rd Ave, Reading, PA 19611. Talking with the guys I work with, they said this place was pretty good and would have what we would be after. Should be pretty easy to access. I am planning on being in the parking lot at 5:30PM and figure we will walk in to sit down between 6 and 6:30PM. When we leave, that will be up to those that show up.

 

Thermo, I'll be there, I see you'll have a long drive, probably 4-5 hrs drive, why don't we set for a bit earlier so you don't have to drive too late on the way back?

 

Thang, I am up in Pottstown right now. So, I only have a 30ish minute drive currently. All is good for me. I am more worried about you guys and your drive.
