Default Indy in NJ

Anyone know of a good independent mechanic in the Jersey Shore area, preferably Monmouth or Ocean County?

Thank you.

Glide63, first, congratulations on your new (to you) Jaguar!

I don't know an indy in your area, but I have used (and will continue to use) Authorized Imported Cars in Flemington. George is a real pro with Jaguars and Land Rovers - that's all he works on.

I hope you find someone closer to you. Good luck!

Thank you. I called the guy in Flemington but never heard back from him. I went to Mario LoMedico Motors in Red Bank and so far so good.

Very happy. He gets $125/hour for labor, not too crazy. My last bill was $341 for an o & f change and a brake fluid flush. The parts/fluids alone were $101. What I really like about him is he's trustworthy. He'll tell you if you don't need something done. He gives me little tips about the car too, like using only good premium gas (Shell, Exxon, etc.) and letting it warm up a few minutes because these engines can leave a lot of carbon deposits. I'd definitely recommend him.
