Jag Techs North East US
Some of the members have been asking about Jag Techs and their locations by region.
If you are a Jag Tech please feel free to post your approx location details here for all to see. Obviously to protect your privacy and annonymity, basic info only.
That way members can see at a glance what Techs if any are in their area that may be able to assist them.
Further - If anyone has any dealership reccommendations / Independant Jaguar specialists in their area that they would like to put forward, please post up with the Details, location and contact details for other members to see.
The Idea is that this will benefit all members within that locale and help to identify the dealerships that offer the best service and value for money.

Just started dealing with Motorcars Incorporated in Plainville, CT. VERY helpful!
Family owned. Dealership, restoration and general repairs. Specialize in Jags but do handle other makes. Stopped by the other day just to see what they actually did and ended up with a tour of their entire premises.
Joe Cusano III Sales. Dean Cusano, (Joe's uncle) Parts.
800-899-1055
Also, some may have seen the HD Theatre show; Chasing Classic Cars.
Wayne Carini, F40 Motorsports, Portland CT. Deals with all classic cars. Deals mostly in restoration and selling high end classic cars. Ferrari, Maserati, Cobra's, etc.
He does a Cars and Coffee usually the first Sunday of each month, 7AM to 9AM. Come show off ride, hang out and talk cars with other classic car buffs.
Last time out there, I ended up spending three hours being toured through his facility, stumbling over millions of dollars worth of classic cars, in various states of restoration, from bare bondo chunked bodies that need to be stripped, to freshly painted beauties.
Very nice, down to earth guy.
Being new to Jags, I'd be interested in hearing others' experiences. I'm sure I'll be needing to use some of them in the future.
Talk soon,

There's near me in Boston:
Samuels Garage in Brighton - Family owned independent Jaguar repair. Often see Astons and RR's there too. The work I have had done, was done on the same day.
Another one is called Brookline Jaguar Service or something like that. Been around for a long time, but Samuels is closer to my house. Heard good things about the shop in Brookline.

Baltimore Area Independent Jaguar shop
City Imports http://www.cityimports.com/ is a great spot. About half the price of going to the dealer. Brad Taylor was lead mechanic at Laurel Jaguar before they went out of business. Owner of the business (will also find Jags for you) has long experience with British cars beginning with apprenticeships at Roots, BL and Rolls Royces. Set up a British car firm in Annapolis in the 60's...bought my first car there, a Triumph in the 70's.

They are up in Southington area. Only about 30 mins from me, so would probably be just a bit more for you. You have RTE 9 to take you practically directly there.

I've used Great Britains (Jag dealership) in Willow Grove PA just off the PA Turnpike for most of my service while under warranty. Excellent dealer. I ALWAYS felt like a valued customer and I didn't buy the car from them.
Now that I'm out of warranty, I hope I can find a local tech in the Lansdale area for future service at a more reasonable rate than dealers charge. Being treated like royalty while Jag paid the bills was awesome, but now reality must set in. I still highly recommend Great Britains to those looking for a great dealership.
