I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting this here, but I'm trying to offload my '05 XJR in central NJ and I'm not getting any traction in the marketplace forum. Figured some local NE guys may be interested as this is a project car and will have to be towed to location (engine runs fine but bad transmission). Taking any reasonable offers at this point. Please see my original classified if interested.
Hey everyone. I’m in Southern New Hampshire. Joined this forum today as well as JANE. I have a 2018 F-Pace and I just purchased a 2013 XKR. This forum has been a great resource already as I was debating taking the XKR for inspection to the local dealer and discovered Upton Foreign Motors which was recommended by several members. Looking forward to engaging and contributing.

Dana (Upton Motors) is great. He's knowledgeable and honest. I have a 08 XK and 98 XJS - I live in RI and won't bring either car to anyone else.

Thank you very much.
Dana and I played phone tag yesterday and I'll be connecting with him once he is back from vacation. He's about 50 miles south of me so not too bad at all - and totally worth the drive for someone trusted and knowledgeable.
New to the forums and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Robert and I'm a Commercial Photographer based out of the Boston/Worcester MA Area.
I am the son of an avid Jaguar owner (more than a dozen models over his 76 years) and 4 years ago inherited my father's last Jaguar. A 2000 XJR that had not been driven in more than 10 years. The car is in completely original condition with only 30.5K miles. I took great care in putting the car back on the road after years of storage and other than replacing fuel pumps, fluids and tires the car is completely original. Overall the vehicle is in amazing condition and my mechanic said the underbelly of vehicle looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I have a few minor things I'd like to get cleaned up such as the headliner and will be using this forum to seek advice and guidance on maintaining what is a very special car to me and my family.
Thank you and look forward to sharing in this amazing community.

Thank you Mike - It looks like an invaluable resource. Much appreciated.
We do have proud jag owners in the northeast. I don't get to drive my 03 S type R much in Western NY snow, but I do drive it at most times of the year as the 109900 miles othe odo show! My daily winter driver is a pristine 00 Vanden plas. Only major problems: steering rack on 2000 and ignition coils on S type. Synthetic fluids used exclusivly. hear from other Jag owners here in the Northeast!!!
Greetings ,
this will be my first winter in my newly acquired 2019 XET25 AWD …I live just south of f Boston
gone thru many winters with G37 AWD’s coupes
no problems. Looking forward to my heated steering wheel too
I live in Warwick RI, and and the second owner of a 2002 XKR with 25,000 miles.
I picked it up last year from Classic Car Studios (Speed Is The New Black) in St Louis MO. I’ve worked out a couple of kinks (sway bar bushings, recharge ac, trans leak from the wiring seal) in my first year, and am looking forward to getting it out of storage probably first of April.
