Nice! What are your thoughts/opinions on the car so far? I've really been eyeballing these as a replacement for one of my cars soon...

Greetings from Cherry Hill, NJ. We're in the southwestern part of Jersey just over the bridge from Philly and about an hour south of Trenton. I'm still in mourning from the Eagles loss on Sunday and we're expecting a foot of snow tomorrow. Our 2004 X Type is great in the snow, as long as its not too high. Not much ground clearance there you know!

Anyway, glad to hear from everyone! We should consider doing a drive-in for everyone to actually meet over the Spring or Summer.

All the best,

Rob

Hi Rob-
I'm in Bucks County, PA with a '07 XKR. Not doing much driving with it this winter but would enjoy getting together in the spring.

Default 2003 S-type R

My jag is in the shop right now with park brake fault.

Took it to Union Park Jaguar in Wilmington, DE for service - big mistake.

After two weeks they are still trying to source the part. Horrible service.

Anyway, I'm all for getting together in the Philly area when the whether improves. Hopefully my jag is repaired by then!

Default Service in Philly Area?

Rob and Mike:

Where do you guys take your jags in for service?

Jag service has been deplorable over the last 3 years, sinking steadily.

Please let me know how you guys manage this service challenge.

Thanks!

I take the Jag to Great Britians in Willow Grove, PA.
I did not buy the car there but they treat me like I did.
Have no problems and they are very professional.

I just bought a 2001 VDP out of sunny Florida...what a change bringing it to NW Pennsylvania. No Jag dealer (read *******) in Erie so I'll do most of the maintenance and repairs doable in my humble garage.

I also go to the Great Britians,. I haven't had many problems but they are very good with there service. I purchased my 2010 XF-SC there in october of 09 and they actually call me once in a while to see how the car is treating me.
I must agree with MDPD23, They are also very Professional.

I everyone, been a member here for a little over a year and this is the first time I've come here. I'm in northestern Pa., between Bloomsburg and Hazleton in the mountains. I've had my 02 x-type for 15 months it's had a couple of small things I needed to fix, but I love the car. It has 101276 miles run like a top, and very dependable, I keep my reader in the trunk just in case....LOL I hope sometime this summer there will be some kind of get together so I can get to meet some other people with Jaguars.

05 S Type 4.2, few miles SW of Reading PA. My wife snuck out and took the Jag to work today, we try not to use it when there is salt on the roads... but she loves the car.
