Guys. Anyone go to Capt Tree in the winter on Sunday mornings? I'll be heading down this Sunday. Love to see some Jags there. I will be taking one of my other cars. If anyone lives in the Melville, 110 area. We are meeting at the StarBucks on 110 at 8:45Am on Sunday Morning and heading out to Capt Tree.I know that it use to be a lot of American Muscle cars, but many European cars show up. I am cruising down with some 911 turbos, my Lambo, and R8 V10, a few other 911's and some Ferrari's. We don't drive like animals. Just a nice safe cruise to Capt tree. Love to see some of your cars. And hopefully some E types!
Hope to hear...

I am 20 minutes away from Melville, had I seen this earlier, I would have come out today.
Let me know next time you guys take the trip again.

This past Sunday we met at Town Bagel in Plainview at about 9:00. Located on Old Country Rd and Manetto Hill Rd. Great turnout. About 40 cars. Stayed about an hour then went for a ride with about 10 of us to Jones Beach (Capt Tree) Great day. Beautiful drive. No crazy drivers. Just enjoyed the scenery and the water. You can PM me and I'll let you know that I will be there. As of now, weather is going to be nice and mild. Its a great day. All types of cars. Ferraris, Lamborghini's, Porsche's (old and new), Cobras, Lotus'. All types. The cobra guy has an XKR. I'll have him bring that one next Sunday. Its turning into a nice Sunday morning. Hope all can attend. If I see a Jag there, I will introduce myself. looking forward.

Well being I have two jags one Is always running! Ill do this Sunday. Probably bring the xjr as my xkr seems to need a new transmission electrical connector seal. Pulled it out this weekend and an oring was out of place. Put it back together but I think its still leaking....Yah yah yah...I want to build a transmission for that car anyway. It has many abused miles on it

Great meeting you Mike (Firehawk). Love the XJS. Ironically our families know each other. Small world. Last Sunday was a great meet. I did not see the other Jag. Please come over to me next Sunday and introduce yourself. I had the silver Lamborghini, parked by the Cobra. After Town Bagel, 20 of us drove down to the beach. Great drive. Looking froward to seeing you all next Sunday. If more Jag guys come, and mine is out of the shop (having front seats done), I will bring it. And yes, there were all types of cars. Ferraris, Mustangs, Lamborghinis, Corvettes, Cobras, and Mercedes'.

I was there at 8:30 until about 9:45. Not sure if I'm doing the drive to the beach this time. But it is a nice drive. Great turnout. And not just Exotics, but everything. Great way to spend a Sunday morning. Would love to see more Jags this time. Sometimes it nice to park the car and admire it (Jag owners, are you listening?). Not just work on the car and always leave it in the garage. Over the years I had "many" garage queens. Ended up regretting it. When I wanted to use it, there was usually oil on the floor. Cars were meant to be driven. Gaskets dry up. I sold my first XJR in 2005 with 80,000 miles. Enjoyed every mile. Two of my cars have over 80,000 miles.
