Default Thermo moving to Maryland

Hey all. I am retiring from the Navy and am stepping back into the civilian world. I got a job up in Lusby MD (40 miles south east of DC) working at a power plant there. Any members up in the area. I know Eddie is up there and I am sure I will be seeing a lot more of him. But, anyone else? I'll be up in the area starting May 1. Hope to meet up with some more members.

Hey Thermo,

I'm in the Northern Virginia area, just out of DC. I'm new to the Jaguar world and would love to meet up with some active members and possibly organize some Cruises.

Let me know if you or any other members are up for anything!

flaakcm, you just missed a jag car show yesterday in Reston. Myself and 1 other member met up. IT was a lot of fun. Keep an eye out and who knows what may happen. I know one of the things that has been talked about is getting a few of us together in DC and say walking the National Mall or something like that. So, keep an eye out and lets see what happens.

Let me know when the G2G is in Baltimore. I am sure I can be up there. I need to run up to Baltimore anyways to check on the son's car he just bought anyways. So, it will be one more reason to be up there. I'm south of Baltimore by about 2 hours.

The car show sounds like it would be interesting. It may be advisable to find a spot nearby that we can all meet up at a designated time so we can all park together and be able to find each other. If not, I will make sure I wear something that no one else will be wearing.

phd, something to the tune of 62 couples and a few love triangles. I will leave it at that.

phd, but a warning though, if we are still meeting up tomorrow, you will have to walk around with me and you might find yourself being "converted". LMAO. Not so funny is it now? LMAO.

At least you are getting a good chuckle out of this.

Thermo... I'm actually going to be moving to NoVa in late June, early July. Unfortunately I'm not retired yet... going to recruit out there for the next 3, but I'm down for a meet sometime. I feel that mine is worthy of a little showing off from time to time. Keep me posted of the scene, as I'm pretty interested. I know a meet out in Middleburg, Va could be a nice effort if the word can get spread. Roads are (well as long as they're not pot-holed to death) fun to ride, and the town is very accomidating for group meetings. I also ride motorcycles, and i know it's a popular meeting place for bikes. Nice town, beautiful scenery, great venue for social gatherings.
