Two days out!
So we are on for 8AM in front of Hagens in Gig Harbor, right? (Folks crossing the bridge, take exit 10 (Olympic Drive), go west and make the first left.... Hagens will then be on your left)
wow... my car is dirty from my run to Eugene last weekend.... Gotta get busy tonight!

In case there was any doubt, I'll be there. I had to miss some great drives last summer, but as the regulars know if I'm out of the hospital I'm generally going to make it. With the start so early and so far away (over 70 miles and an hour and a half) I'll do everything I can to be there by 8. If I can make it on time I hope that those who live closer can do the same, I'd hate to get up at oh-dark-thirty just to wait around for the start. I had the big cat detailed (at the dealer, no less) but it's dirty already. Shrug. This should be a fun drive. I'm working with Muddydog to put together a full day drive to Grand Coulee Dam with dinner in Leavenworth in August, stay tuned for details. Now where did I put those walkie-talkies?

Time: 8:00 AM (meet at 8, depart no later than 8:15)
Place: Haggen Food & Pharmacy (parking lot) - 4831 Point Fosdick Dr NW - Gig Harbor, WA 98335
Bring: Gas in your tank, air in your tires, excitement in your veins… sorry, had to try and be witty there. FRS Radios if you have them, we'll loan you one if you don't. A candy bar and a bottle of water never hurts. A camera is always fun.
Welcome: First timers!
PM me with any questions or if you need cell phone or email info prior to the meet time. Remember, eat a little something ahead of time. We can pick up a few snacks during our bathroom breaks, but I'm shooting for delaying lunch until we reach our Kingston destination, so people can choose to stay or go depending on their day's plans.
For the record, my car is very dirty as well.

What can be said but "WOW"! What a spectacular drive, once again lead by our fearless leader Muddy!
It was perfect right down to the last sip of Corona on an open deck in Kingston!
Great to see familiar faces again, all with smiles, and also an honor to meet MarcB and his better half!
Looking forward to the next drive! (Maybe Sunrise? 25th? Aug 1st?)

Most excellent! A spectacular drive and a great group of people.
Thank you all so much for accommodating the newbies and tolerating the accompanying chatter . And yes, the old cat's supercharger is fully operational, thank you.
We are looking forward to checking out the next drive in August.
