I'll have to be back by 2:30 to ensure I can watch the US game (World Cup), but I'll ride along as long as I can! :-)

I'll be watching it, too. Watching France v Honduras right now. So far CONCACAF is tearing up, so... Go USA! Oh, but for our Brit friends, so sorry!

So I chose a date by attending numbers that unfortunately excluded Swimref, and now you two bail? wtf?

Well scratch what I said about Honduras. They were terrible. As for the time, I don't see why it would interrupt up the run. What time were you thinking we'd be done?

Well, I thought the 9:30 Kingston gathering back in April worked out well. Folks on the other side of the water would need to be on the 8:50 boat.
So 9:45 -10AM departure from McDonalds in Kingston.
Assuming fare winds and calm seas, we can summit Hurricane ridge in about 2.5 hours. That only takes light stops in account, and no detours.
Add an hour for lunch in Pt Angeles, and your Kingston return is about 4:30.

Anyone crossing the bridge can meet up in Gorst (Subaru dealership parking lot)@ 8:30 and caravan to Kingston.

Well, I can go via bridge or boat. It depends on if anyone on this side wants to meet up to travel en masse to the other rendezvous point.

^ What he said....
I live just south of Gorst, and can meet up with any crossing the bridge. Gorst to Kingston is about 30 minutes. I said 8:30(Gorst) just to make the morning unrushed, but 8:45 is still easy to beat the folks riding the boat to Kingston.

If most everybody else is coming across the bridge we can meet in Poulsbo, say at Central Market, and save the back-tracking.

Or meet in Pt Gamble.... Even less backtracking for Kingston folk...

Not seeing our numbers go up, which is kinda sad... So far weather looks dry!

Please please do the July run on a day I can make!

Muddy, you used to be closest to me -- which way you going? Across the narrows or over on a boat?

Also, asking a couple of other buddies if they want to go. I think one's out of town, but the other has a DB9 so...

You have no idea how much picking a date you couldn't make killed me.
You will both be missed...

On a side note... I may not have my jag this weekend....

After the last run, I have decided I should get the front end looked at. The killer is that I think I am within 100 miles of my extended warranty terminating.

I will try to crawl under the car and see if it is just a tierod ($270+), or something more serious. (I hear rumors that the lower control arms are prone to failure...(a $700+ part)

I need to check my paperwork (I may already be out of coverage, which makes it moot) and call the dealership tonight...
Maybe they have a loaner jag, but last time they just sen me to Enterprise grrrrr

Anyone got a spare passenger seat?

v

I live on the peninsula now. Moved last November.

I invited my young neighbor, but haven't heard back from him yet if he's coming.

Thanks, but looks like I am covered... They think I can have my car back by Friday, and if not I am currently in an XF loaner.....

I expounded on the shame I would experience arriving at a Jag event in a Honda Civic, and that I would be mortified to attend...
Yeash! I'd have to hire out a certain theropist I know to help me deal with the emotional scares.

They took pity on me....
