Thanks Vince!

When brining my car to the shop this week, I noticed a Jag magazine there from the Seattle Jag Club, do you know them? Are they engaged here too?

Just wondering, because they have additional events going and stuff. Here is an online version of their latest magazine:

Cheers,

Thanks Marko, I grab dates from all over the place, SJC included. Keep finding them, and I'll post them up!

Britannia is a Founder member of JRDC/NWA, so we have forum members with solid ties to that club as well!

To read the "The Jag Mag" online just enter Seattle Jag Club in your search engine and there is a link to the online version of the magazine. I have belonged to the club at times and they are a great group of Jag lovers so check them out

Regarding the May 19 Whistler run.

If you are looking for a great drive and a little adventure from Whistler back to the border I would suggest this spectacular route if the weather is good.

Head north from on Hwy 99 from Whistler to Pemberton − From there head to Mt Currie and then take the Duffy Lake Rd to Lillooet. − From Lillooet take Hwy 12 to Lytton and then Hwy 1 south back towards Vancouver along the Fraser Canyon. − From Hope head towards Agissiz and Harrison Mills along Hwy 7 on the north side of the Fraser River towards Mission. Take Hwy 11 from Mission and cross back into the US at Sumas or Aldergrove − Hwy 9 south to Sedro Wolley would cap it off nicely I would say.
No freeways, great views and a variety of terrain and you stay out of the city. Lots of places to stop and chill. An easy 6 hour drive if you keep to the speed limit.

May 19 weekend is out for me. Volleyball Nationals in Alberta BUT another weekend rather than a Holiday weekend would work better as there would be less traffic. If anyone wants to meet up let me know. It could easily be made into a 2 day run with a little tweaking if time allows.

Watch the web site and facebook for a "go/no-go".

Although I've only attended 2, they were both summer days and dry. As I heard it, even sprinkles will keep the big $ toys in the garage. Don't know this for a fact having never been there in the rain, but when you see the caliber of toys, you tend to understand why that would be the case.

Weather looks bad so far, so I bet it will cancel.
If your close, go look it over anyhow and post back to the turnout, because I bet a few cars will show just because they can.

Although predominantly German car enthusiasts, they welcome all European drivers to join in. Would love to see a few plucky Brits make a showing!

This event says Redmond Town Center, but everything else points to BJ's in Renton (Southcenter Mall, Tukwila). Has it been changed?
Thanks.

No.
Luckily, that question was also asked on their Facebook page as well, so it is confusing many... Thanks for bringing it up.

The event is at Redmond Town Center as always... Disregard the calender reference in Renton.

<chuckles> This Saturday isn't looking to great either -- Yay March in Seattle!

Still... it's probably time I shined her up for showing. It's been a couple of months. I stuffed the Jag away for most of the winter and have been putting miles on the Z. When I drove the Jag last Saturday, I was promptly reminded of the difference between a VQ V6, and an AJIII V8. Like getting kicked in the back. In a good way.

lol

Frustrating part from my perspective is that both of the previous Saturdays have been dry here in the peninsula! I took a drive twords Neah bay two weekends ago, and only hit rain past Pt Angeles.
Hit Pt Townsend yesterday and stayed dry as well!

Gotta love living in the rain shadow of the Olympics!

You've got to be kidding me! I hope this thing is worth the wait I washed her up on Wednesday when we got a hint of sunshine here, and thought I'd snap a couple of pics. I was driving around trying to find a good backdrop when the skies clouded up again and rained on me. I admit I cursed a little bit My wife has been out of town so I've been driving her car all week rather than get mine wet. There's something wrong with that, isn't there?
