We could use an enthusiast over there to put together some meets and drives for folks that are just too darn far away from the Pacific Northwest. We have the same problem in Idaho and Oregon.
Perhaps we can start a posting titled "Eastern WA get together" and see what the response is like? Sadly winter is here, so these things tend to die down till March or so...

Wow, your in for a bit of weather shock adapting to the PNW! (I'd guess you didn't get to do much snow skiing in Hawaii? HeeHee)
Nice looking ride! Hope to see you at one of our gatherings next spring!

Thanks for the welcome, Vince.
I just got back from a large loop around the NE part of the state yesterday. On Wednesday I took I90 out to Spokane and then headed north to Colville and stayed the night before cutting in across the 20 and then down the 97. I managed to hit 3 mountain passes in one day. Sherman at 7am, Blewett at noon, and then Snoqualmie around 3pm. I wasn't expecting the compact snow and ice on Sherman (report said bare and dry) so I had some pretty white knuckles by the time I hit 5500'.
(Because it looks like you like to drive as much as I do... Some Jag **** for ya!)

As for creating a garage, I'm not sure the direct route but you can get there by clicking on your username. It should take you to your profile page. To the far right is a series of "pop-Down" boxes of which one will say "Garage", then a link to "Go to bdevenyvm's garage"
Once there you can add you vehicles
Must be an easier way, but I don't know it... sorry....
Anyhow, welcome once again!

Uh Vince,
You do realize that they have snow skiing in Hawaii, right? At Mauna Kea on the big island, some years they can ski year around. For years they had a ski patrol, nowadays you're on your own. No dirt or vegetation underneath though, just hard sharp lava rock, so don't overrun the end of the snow at the bottom!

The PNW section is a tad dead this time of year, but peek through a few of the past threads to see some of our summer adventures. We mostly focus on drives, with two annual events (Drive to St Helens, and drive to Leavenworth) being well attended. We often spontaneously gather when a sunny weekend is in the forecast, and pick an obscure back road to travel in the company of some great people and of course some beautiful cars!
Hope you join us!

Not yet.... I'm just too far away to be anything more than moral support.

Good idea Vince, I must have the only XJS in Colville (maybe the only Jag) so doubt if I could generate much interest here, I could attend meetings in Spokane if there was an XJS club there.
