Curious if anyone had interest in touring Manhattan Projects B reactor (Hanford) on a Saturday?

No easy way but to drive to Richland the night before, then take the 7:30 tour and drive back one the same day.

I'm gonna do it myself, and wanted to see if others had interest. (Don't feel bad though, we have never had an 'Overnight' event.)

The only Saturday tour that has many openings is June 15th, but if it is only one or two extra, then other dates may be open....

Vince not sure about June 15th (think I have something going on), Some friends of mine recently took the same tour and said it was amazing. Built in 9 months with paper drawings and marginal estimates on what was required. They built in 20% excess which ended up being required just to turn it on!

 

Yeah, June 15 was just the first Saturday with lots of seats. I was thinking about going myself in a week or so, but if others had interest, I could hold off. June will be hot over there, that's for sure...
