Natchez with a 96 XJS Convertible not presently running. Any Jag mechanics in Jackson region? I have to trailer to Baton rouge when it's not running.
None that I know of, other than the Jag Dealer in North Jackson. I never could afford to pay dealer hourly rates, so I had to learn to work on them on my own many years ago. However, check with Gr8Brit (2 posts up from yours). I'll bet he has some connections. |

What kind of Jag are you driving/working on? |
We are south of Canton the 95 XJS 4.0 2+2 convertible is not running at the moment and I feel like I know what is not causing the problem, just have not hit on what is the problem. I would like to talk about it with someone who might have another idea that I have not tried yet. I have replaced crank sensor and cam synchronizer sensor, checked wiring back to ecm, checked relays, still no spark or fuel. Is there a place that can check the ecm. I have taken ecm apart, no visible burns or odors, also replaced plugs. White95XJS (MCox145@ymail.com)

Jackson area is a barren wasteland as far as Jag service goes. There is one place you may want to try. I think its called Jackson Motorsports. On the south 55 Frontage Rd, just south of County Line Rd. They used to always have a couple XJS, and XJs there. I've bought a few parts for mine there too. They recently remodeled and now have several upscale exotics in the showroom, so, I'm not sure they still do anything for old Jags, but, its worth a shot.
Also, post this problem on the XJS forum. I'm not up on the facelift cars, nor on the 4.0s, but, I'm sure someone there can point you in the right direction. |

Contact Capital Sports at 601-977-0044. They have relocated to 121 E. Ford St. Ridgeland, MS, across from McDonalds on Hwy 51. They can help with your Jag. Owner is Wayne Farris. |

So the building on the S. 55 Frontage Rd, is a different outfit all together now? Glad to see that Capital (don't know why I couldn't remember that name) is still in business. They seem to be able to find oddball parts that I can't find elsewhere. |
this place on gallatin (may be 3 or 4 blocks off 80) daels with imports.... including jags

Seems that us Mississippi folks are a minority in this forum. I'm Danny from New Albany (just north of Tupelo). Glad to be here!

Corinth Mississippi
Hi, in Corinth with a 2005 XJ8.
|
Glad to see another fellow Jag owner in Mississippi! Do you have any pictures of your Jag to post?
|
I’m not a Jaguar owner but I want to be one. I’m shopping for a 2003/4 xk8. I’ve sat in one but I’ve never driven one. Does anyone know how I can arrange a test drive?
Thanks. |
beautiful car! We live in Bay St Louis... have a 2006 xk8.
