Music City Jaguar Club
For anyone that is interested, there is an effort in the works to reinstate the Music City Jaguar Club. (It has somewhat 'disbanded', for lack of a better term, over the last year or two.)
Some of us previous members received an email stating that there will be a meeting on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Famous Dave's in Cool Springs. The email also requested that anyone interested in meeting or joining contact Chuck Gavron at chkjagwire@comcast.net

Repair shops in Nashville
hey Ms M M.
It's been my experience that Middle Tennessee is *severely* lacking a dedicated Jaguar shop that can work on all years and models of cars. Luckily, I've managed to keep my fleet running by doing all my own work.
The shops that I'm aware of:
J D's British Cars on Wilhagen Rd: JD is THE guy in town for older British cars. He's active with the British car club, and was active with the previous MCJC also. If you have a 70's or older Jag, I'd take it to him. He prefers not to work on the more modern cars though.
Classic Auto Works on Main St. run by Bob Acuff: Bob used to work on all types of Jags, but I'm not sure if he's still in business anymore. Haven't heard about him from anyone lately.
C.M.I. on 4th Ave. S.: This is a car and motorcycle repair place run by Ray Dey. I have never used him, but a couple guys I know have without issues.
Wurster's in Franklin: They are primarly a german car shop, but have been known to do some Jag stuff. I've only been there one time to get some bushings pressed.
The only other option I know of is Euro-Fix. It seems like they have the capacity to work on the more modern cars since they are a larger, more chain-like operation. Never used them though.
Hopefully someone else might have some other suggestions.

Music City Jaguar Club Outing March 15
Allen Deaver with the MCJC asked me to pass along the following information about the next club outing on Saturday:
"We will meet at Jaguar of Nashville at 9:30am on Saturday, March 15th. We will be treated to a full breakfast, courtesy of the dealership and Carroll Clark, Jaguar Sales Manager.
When we are all full, we will adjourn to the dealership's meeting room/Man Cave. Discussion will be about club organization, events etc. At 11:00 we start driving F-Types!"
