If you're a car nut and especially if you haven't been before, you should really go as there are always around 150-200 cars there of all different styles/ages/nationalities. There are more Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches etc. than you can shake a stick at. There's often some really rare/unique stuff too. Clearly the recession didn't ever reach large parts of Scottsdale.
Its totally informal, you dont need to pay or even arrange previously to show your own car. Just turn up, find a spot and park. The coffee shop there has particularly good coffee too. The only downside I can think of is getting up so early on a Saturday. It starts around 7:30am, and cars start leaving an hour or so later.
I'll be there with my midnight black portfolio ed. XKR conv (its actually black with a hint of dark metallic blue). Please come and say hi if you see us!
Neil.

I am in North Scottsdale and I would be in for meeting up with you guys. The Pavilions car show is every Saturday evening off of Indian Bend and the 101. It's usually pretty fun and like cars and coffee, there are sometimes a few pretty cool rides, but from what I've seen there's not much of a Jaguar presence.

Would you guys and gals be interested in meeting up between Sept 10 and Sept 12? I am going to be in town and I am always willing to meet up with fellow members. I am going to be in town for some training at the Southwest Microwave site there in Tempe. I am thinking of just meeting up at a local restaurant, having supper and talking cars for a bit. So, if you know of a good restaurant, let me know and I will be there. Unfortunately, K'Re Ann (my X-Type) will not be there.

JustNiz, you know the area far better than I do. Pick a day and time and I will be there. I will be good for supper. Most of the daytime I will be in class there in Tempe. But, I have a GPS, I have my laptop, I will be able to find whatever and where ever you pick.
I am also looking at doing a run down to Tucson to have supper down there one night. Maybe we can get a second GTG down there. Granted, that night, it would be at El Charro (downtown). There are some people that work there that I need to thank.
