Thanks Jim...taking it upon myself seems to be the only way this is going to happen. The biggest hurdle I am finding is spreading the word. But I do it daily and won't quit!
Please help as you are and let me re-post the flyer often. I would love to have a strong Jaguar group present. I don't own one at the time but it is certainly one of my favorites, definitely the best looking car ever manufactured.
Come on members from Texas! Grab your Jaguar forums banner and show up in force!! (see flyer on my previous post)

I know its hot on a parking lot this time of year, but what I like to do is get my car set up by the start of the show at 6:00pm and then retreat inside one of the adjacent fast-food restaurants to eat dinner. By the time we're through eating, the sun is a bit lower in the sky and its starting to cool off.

I tried to make it in my SL, which I've not driving since last year. I got pretty close before the car started running really hot so I thought it was smarter to run it to the radiator shop and have the radiator cleaned.
Did not get done till 2:30 pm .
Will make an effort next time and will be sure to shake my car down beforehand.

I thought about posting a poll, but figured it would be impossible to get a consensus with everybody's differing schedules. I just posted earlier that I will plan to be at the Birdville Stadium show next Saturday night. A couple other posts seemed to like that event.

That how the car shows I'm thinking are done. They are usually at hooters, twin peaks or something similar.

I got to the Carrollton show late but did go meet at the Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant and met a few of the guys that showed up there. No Jags. That place is pretty cool. I'm definitely stealing ideas for my future shop from there. From what I heard it was 15 or so cars but it was the first meet so maybe more in the future. I will be at Birdville unless it rains. You guys can still use my cell number, listed previously, as a point of contact for where we park. I will try to be there around 6.

ongoing meet opportunities
We are on the far NW side of the FW area, about a fifteen minute drive from downtown FW on good roads. Check out our place at LightCatcher Home.
If this one doesn't work for you, we'll do another one. Let me know if you can come! Cheers.

Thanks for the website to the Birdville group! By the pictures looks like they get a great turnout each month. Lots of classic cars and hot rods! Not sure if I should even attend with my jag! It's a 2013 XF. Will anyone even be interested at looking at a new car?
