if u are taking the car constantly to Momentum and
they are not fixing your problems, start yelling at the service manager.
Tell him you want the car fixed right, you are not paying any more diag charges and you are calling
Jaguar to complain that they are taking advantage of you.
There is always the other dealer up on 45, Park Place I think.
Go to momentum again first though and raise hell.
Post the problem with your car in the general tech help section and I will see
what I can do to help you.

Hello, from Tucson!
My wife and I have a 1998 XJ8. Its our first Jag and other than outrageous maintenance costs (over $6,000 in the past year), we love it - well, at least I love it. My wife wants me to get rid of the Big Cat, and my reply..."yeah, when you pry the steering wheel from my cold dead fingers." She's the one who wanted it in the first place, and I tried to warn her about maintenence costs - that went in one ear and out the other! So now she went out and bought a new Acura, and I have the Jag. Gotta admit, her Acura has a few more bells & whistles then my Jag (Nav. system, XM radio, DVD player, etc.) but hey, its still not a Jag! What my wife doesn't understand is that a Jaguar isn't "just transportation"...its an investment! So far I have tosay thatwe've invested a lot, but damn its beenworth it! Nothing drives like, feels like, handles like, smells like, sounds like or brings a smile to the drivers face like a Jaguar!
My Big Cat and I get up to the Phoenix area every once in awhile, and shecanstillturn heads even in that opressively traffic congested metropolis. We were at Sugar Daddy's in Scottsdale not too long ago, and of course had to valet park. Because the valet spoke up andsaid, "sweet ride, man", he got a $20 tip in stead of four bucks! People just instinctively know quality and elegance. My wife though a $20 tip was little over the top, but I was smilin' all the back to the Old Pueblo.
Remember,if you can't play with theBig Cats - better stay in the litter box."Jaguar. There are no substitutes." Hey, my friend...happy motoring in the valley of the sun- Jag style of course!
Ron

I'll be moving to Bedford Texas if y'all know where that is? Nobody here in Michigan has ever heard of Bedford but they've heard of dallas/fort worth area. We were supposed to leave this coming Tuesday and than next Sunday but now it's looking like the 3rd of March.
Where's the best jag dealer near that area? Hey jnaut we'll have to meet up!

Aq, you're going to be my new neighbor! Closest jag dealer is Autobahn Jag, so far they've been pretty nice about helping me on the phone with little things that have come up, not any overnight visits i'm afraid (am glad for). It is located on the western part of ft worth, probably a 25-30 minute drive...not too far. My mom lives in N richland Hills, (neighbor to Bedford) and I always head that direction to see her. It's only a 20 minute drive from my neighborhood to your new one. I'd be happy to show you around or just meet up to welcome ya to this fine state. Just PM me for my cell phone number.

Will do boss! Just got back from my getting the x hauled home......I can't wait I hope the roads are good down there! I have figured they are just because you don't have the climate we have but man our roads suck......both drivers side rims are mangled from a pot hole...slight crack in the front bumper and the inner fender wall plastic got some contact from the front rim...man I'm not happy......Worse part is that we were already supposed to be in Texas or leaving Tuesday...than the wife never would have been out with the car...

Holy smokes! That's from a pothole? Must have been more like a bomb crater...So sorry. Look at wheelcollision.com, they have all types of reconditioned rims for cheap. I plan on replaceing my ratty rims with reconditioned ones in the near-future as well. Not sure if yours are OEM or aftermarket but it might be worth a look. Good Luck!

I wish they were stock aguilla's they may have held up better (more than likely not though) but I like the look of the stocks more than the ones I have. I was hoping to get something better and get say 100 bucks out of these...not anymore!![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Hopefully Texas is nothing like Michigan!![Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
