Scottsdale C&C - December 4th - 8:00AM
Can we try again? Finally got my car back, new throttle, all hail damage repaired, almost they are sorting out new rattles now...
Anyway I would truly enjoy meeting other Jaguar Forums members at this event. I do not know if this is confirmed but even if a few Jaguars show up it would be a nice morning to talk Jags and have a coffee.
Event: Cars and Coffee
Date: Saturday, December 4th, 2010
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Place: Shops at Gainey Village located on the southeast corner of Scottsdale & Doubletree Ranch Rd.
This is an informal gathering of auto enthusiasts and all makes of vehicles are invited. This event is brought to you by Scuderia Southwest, Scottsdale Exotic Car Club and the Arizona Lamborghini Club.

A good friend of mine who lives in Scottsdale attended and said the turnout was good, but he said there were no Jags worth looking at until you got as old as SIs. Apparently there were 3 E-Types, all SIs and an XK150? He is a Jag/Ferrari guy and also said there were bunches of Ferraris, a number of 308s, which would be my choice. Too bad no Jags on the recent end.
One of these days when I am visiting Scottsdale, I'll need to get over there and try it again. Maybe it's improved from a few years ago.

Well I can't speak for the local XK "enthusiasts" that couldn't show up to this event but my car was there it seems to get some decent attention and a lot of compliments, but I guess it isn't your friend's cup of tea.
