I'm in northern Utah County, Cedar Hills (home) and Pleasant Grove (work) area. I drive a 2005 S-type 4.2 VDP -- daily driver year-round. It would be nice to get together for lunch with any local Jaguar owners! PM me if interested.

Great! Drive it every day on snow and ice. It started easily when temps were below zero. Not sure it's the best thing to do with a Jag, but when my son's WRX wouldn't start and my daughter-in-law made off with my truck; the only thing left to drive was the XJR. So far, so good!

My XK8 is under a carport. Taking it out today to run some errands. Doesn't do well in snow, but the roads are clear today.

My 2005 S-type 4.2 VDP is a daily driver. It has been doing quite well so far this winter, with the new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires on it, along with the stability program, traction control and ABS. I mostly drive locally in northern Utah County, but I did do a round trip to SLC in the snow storm we had a few weeks ago. The car did just fine on a snow-covered freeway, with snow coming down, at speeds of 45-50 m.p.h., which was as fast as anyone was going in those conditions. I think the tires are great for all-weather traction. The grip in wet is much, much better than the grip of the mostly worn but not bald Michelin Pilot HX OE tires that were on it. I only had a bit of experience with the Pilot HX's in some snow and ice in February when I got the car and the grip was terrible. I still had an old FWD Nissan Altima with snow/winter tires mounted to get me through the worst snow left and the end of last winter. But now my only DD is the S-type with these great all-season tires. So far, so good. If we get a really huge snow dump I'll just take our 2011 Toyota Sienna with winter/snow tires to work and do the afternoon school run.

I'm a member of the wasatch mountain jaguar register. It's a local Utah club that loves jags as much as we do! Feel free to check them out. They are a part of the jaguar clubs of North America and have a lot if fun activities monthly.

Can anyone recommend a good tire and suspension place somewhere around Utah Valley? The jokers I went to last time don't have a clue what they're doing...

Brandon, I've always got my tires from Discount Tires. I don't know of any suspension shops in Utah Valley. I'm in Salt Lake.
