If I'm not mistaken there were 20+ cars at the start point. You'll be able to tell for sure by counting our signatures on the banner

We had more than 20 cars...... and almost 40 people :-)
A great mix of cars....... I'm probably going to forget a few, but here are some of the highlights for me......
"special guests" at the muster point : David_hs' 1972 Series 1 XJ6 and otisbds Triumph TR6
On the run :
David/david55838 & Melindas fabulous 84 XJ6 VDP. 41xxx original miles from new. I thought my recent Series III 1 owner find was in original condition but yours puts mine to shame...... but at least my a/c works :-)
Rhett and Heathers stunning 88.5 XJS V12 Coupe, in Simon Templar white, with red leather interior.
Talking of XJSes, we had 3, all running at the same time. Must be some kind of record. Many thanks to the Williams/dsetter clan who brought 2 Jaguars with them, one of which was the 3rd XJS of the day. They also brought the median age of the group down to just under 60 :-)
Rob/Enderles continued modifications to his XKR are always a treat to see each time. (Will it ever be finished?)
It was also nice to have a newer 08 XKR with us, thanks to Tom/tdriver for bringing it.
Also, DaveCs "largest dog in the smallest car" entry was hilarious :-)
The weather was very kind to us...... some amazing mist and fog as we climbed the hill towards the ocean, and then some welcome heat when we got inland for lunch.
So, in case you missed the amazing prize draw and pop-quiz (or you were there but couldn't understand what I was saying)....
Pop Quiz :
The total number of miles racked up by all of the cars presented today was 1,333,000+......... thats a lot of miles for cars that are supposed to be unreliable !
Despite there being over 20 cars, the number of breakdowns across the whole fleet within the last year was only a mere 2 !!!
Even the repair bills were not that bad........ you'll see the "winner" in the list below.
Highest odometer reading on the drive was Craigs XJ40 with 143,xxx miles.
The oldest car on the run was the 84 XJ6 VDP, although we did have the 72 XJ6 also at the start line.
The newest car was Tom/tdrivers 08 XKR
The most popular make of car on the run was the 97 to 06 MY XK.
Now, drum roll for the Prize Draw winners :
1) Most miles per year -> Nardoswiss/Arseniy at 11,100 miles per year in his X-type.
2) Least miles per year --> David/david55838 & Melindas 84 XJ6 VDP with 41,xxx miles, which gives 1366 miles per year.
3) Furthest traveled just to get to the start point...... Miriam & William/StaggerWing17 at over 100 miles
4) Most expensive Jaguar repair bill in the last 12 months (excluding modifications, which ruled Rob/Enderle out, and excluding crash repairs, which ruled Tom/tdriver out) --> "a not unreasonable figure" from David/david55838 & Melindas 84 XJ6 VDP
5) Voted best sedan of the day --> A very popular car, and a rare site, MarcBs recently acquired 06 Super V8 Portfolio
6) Voted best sports car of the day --> Rob/Enderles 04 Thundercat XKR
I didn't take that many pictures as I was running around with a clipboard, but here is the great group shot with the banner....

I'm currently editing my GoPro footage and will post some highlights soon.
Thank you to everyone for coming and making this such a great day.

Wow, now thats what I call a report of a Jag meet!!!
Some great info there from what looks to be a well attended meet and all round fun day for all.
Can't wait for any more members to add pics of the day....superb!!
Presumably all managed to sign the banner too and it'll soon be winging its way to next meet coming soon?
Thanks

Thanks, Rhett. Your gorgeous XJS grill in my mirror wasn't so bad either! Again, I'd just like to thank Scott for all his hard work and generosity in planning and executing this. Normally, this is the province of marque specific car clubs (the dues paying kind), but to get this level of enthusiasm and commitment from an Internet forum is inspiring.
Well done matey!
