Club Sportiva does its drives to Alice's and we are able to get the cars together across the street. Hobee's woud make my wife happy as that is where we go on Sundays for breakfast though we go to the one in San Jose off the Expressway because it is less crowded. Lot of folks go to Hobee's on Sundaay. But just let me know when and where and I'll work it out. Hopefully I'll have the new nav in by then.

@ Crispy
Yes, we're now on 17th June at Hobees
The concern was raised that we may not get all the cars together at Alices and that there were more available car park spaces at Hobees
To be honest, I'd travel pretty much anywhere within reason for this first meet as I've been wanting to do something Jaguarish for a long time. My work colleague has 3 Alfa Romeos (Don't ask) and the Alfa club runs all kinds off cool things. I've snuck along to one in the XJS, but I kind of stood out a bit :-)
Hopefully if we get a good number of us together, we'll decide to do it again, and then we can go to a different place, like up in the city.
Hope to see you there on 17th

Cars & Caffeine
By the way there is a Cars and Caffeine event Saturday at Club Auto Sport in San Jose. Typically free food and drinks (they want your address in exchange). Lots of cool cars, typically I'm the only Jag driver. I should be there, both Jags are being worked on this week so may be driving the S5 or the blown FX35. They have a dyno which should be available at a discount to use as well (last time the operator decided to go to a race and wasn't there).
521 Charcot Avenue, San Jose, CA 95131
They typically start up between 9 and 10 and if you want a dyno run likely best to get there a little early. I think the price is $85 for 3 runs with the same car.
Ran my XKR on the dyno yesterday, I'm missing 50 ponies. If anyone knows where they might be let me know. Having the car flashed today and apparently it also has a bad thermostat.

Helper links for maps, etc
I am not the thread sponsor, host or scapegoat for any issues, just providing helpful links. This is a cool thing, lets make it work and have more monthly meets!
