Chrome or Black?

I can't decide if I want chrome rims or black rims on my 89 XJ6. I know I'm either getting 20's or 22's but I don't know about the color or pattern.
Give me some input on if I should do all chrome all black or black and chrome together.
I also have no idea on which pattern I should go with. Like 5 spokes, or 10, or I don't know. Just so many options hahaha.

I'm seriously about to shoot myself. Only one website I have found lists wheels by bolt pattern. All other websites (such as tire rack) only list their wheels by brand or car.
I'm not going through every damn brand and looking to see if the rim is made in my bolt pattern... and my car doesn't show up for any wheels in your database.
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT!?!?

how to wreck your dynamics......wear out suspension.......20's/22's black? what?
An old sage once said to me, "anything other than o.e.m wheels will be egg shaped" and after seeing a number of Jag's with cheap far east wheels bumped, I'd agree.
Look for XJS starfish, pepperpot etc and get blasted powder coated in brilliant silver - plus the tyre cost is in line.

I've been looking at wheels as well for my XJ40, but not as large as you. I plan on moving up an inch (to 16") from stock, and like the Voxx MG3 option from www.discounttire.com. They also carry 20" Coventry if you want to spend the change. I've read that X300 wheels will fit as well, which are available at Tirerack (which are also an inch larger than stock XJ40). Bolt pattern is one thing, but center hole is larger so not all wheels with same bolt pattern will fit. Best to find by vehicle.

I feel I must provide my opinion. If you are choosing to install aftermarket rims on your car (to each his own, I guess) don't go that big. I would suggest only an inch or two larger than stock otherwise it will won't jive with the rest of the proportions of the car. Now, to answer your question, choosing between black and chrome, I would go black ALL THE WAY! Forget chrome. It doesn't just look tacky as hell, it IS tacky as hell!

Hey J4G-OFF,
Go to Tirerack.com and chose a '95 XJ6. Once you pick a wheel, you can see how the wheels look on that year vehicle, even change the color of the vehicle. The profile is similar to your XJ40. It will give you an idea of size and wheel type.
I agree with previous post about wheel size, but the chrome/black decision in in the eye of the beholder.
