I am running 255/40ZR19 High Performance Summer tires that are due for replacement.
I am not happy with the tire roar I'm getting with these tires.

As a general rule which tires are quieter - Hi Perf Summer or All Season Hi Perf.?

I don't want to go down in speed rating and I can find wonderfull testimonials on any specific tire on the mkt. so before I choose a tire I just want a general guideline. Summer vs All Season for noise.

 

Problem solved.
Replaced 2 worn out Pirelli Summer High Performance Asemetricos with 2 Pirelli P6 Four Seasons.
Floped the 2 remaining Falcon Summer High Perf. on the wheels and installed in rear.
Road roar and wha, wah, wah on deceleration is 90% gone. Will replace the Falcons with All Season Pirellis as required.

Lesson learned: worn down Summer High perf. tires on my car will drive you crazy.
