To Rotate or Not To Rotate?

To Rotate or Not To Rotate?
I've got Cooper tires on the front, and Yokahamas on the rear. Coopers are nearly new, and Yokahamas have a bit less than half tread.
My Coopers have VERY poor traction when it's raining hard. I bought the Coopers to replace some Yokahamas that had worn. The Yokahamas had great traction in the wet.
I'm thinking about moving the Yokahamas to the front, and putting the Coopers on the back. Sound good?

Alright, I suppose I'll keep the tires the way they are. I actually had a little argument with the tire tech when I bought the Coopers. I wanted them on the rear (expecting them to have good/better) traction, but he made the argument that I NEEDED to have the better traction up front. Not wanting to argue with someone touching my car, I let him do what he suggested. I suppose it was actually a good thing.
