Fault codes...please help me to figure these out

A rare code. Tripped by
1 Inertia switch activated
2 Throttle Limp Home mode
3 Engine starts and stumbles
4 Engine fail to start
5 Engine stall
may be due to a faulty inertia switch, assuming you haven't been in an accident.
It can only be cleared by specialised equipment but doesn't actually do any harm.
The P1000 ought to turn into a P1111 (all tests passed) but I don't know if the P1582 will stop that happening.
Here (thanks to Bob Gauff) is a TSB on the code.

This is an easy one so I'll answer it here. Tech questions about your X-Type should be posted in X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for the best response.
Here's the descriptions from the Jaguar DTC listing:
P1000 means the OnBoard tests haven't been completed since the last memory clear. It will be replaced by P1111 when the tests are completed. You will always see one of these two codes.
For P1582, see the 'Monitoring Conditions' column for an explanation of why this code has been set.

I've had Code P1582 on my XK8 and cleared it using AutoEnginuity with the Jaguar expansion pack. No reason to think the same won't apply to all other Jaguar models.
Unlike some codes, P1582 doesn't disappear when the underlying cause is fixed.
