I bought this car 2 years ago. I just starting having a problem with the headlights. I replaced both headlights 4 months ago. The right side keeps going out once a month it seems. I replaced both headlight bulbs with silver stars. Anyone have an idea on why the bulb keeps going out on me? Thank you for helping!

VGE, there are 2 possible things with this. THe more likely issue is when you are installing the bulb, are you letting your fingers touch the glass bulb? If so, with the silver stars, because they run a bit hotter than standard bulbs, the oil that is on your hands creates a hot spot on the glass that leads to filament failure. So, the next time you install the bulbs, try keeping your hand wrapped inside of a paper towel or something like that to provide a barrier between your fingers and the bulb. If you are only touching the plastic base of the bulb, then there is no need for using the paper towel.
The other possibility is that your connections to the bulb are starting to fail (the plastic clip will become brittle). This can lead to heating of the element in the bulb, which then leads to its failure. This may require replacing the bulb connector to fix your issue.

I was told that I might have touched the bulb the first time with my hands. I used some gloves the second time. I read somewhere last night that it could be a ground wire that needed to be added. Have you heard of that before? if a ground wire does need to be added. I have no clue as to go about doing so.

VGE, people have had issues with their headlights not working, which required a new ground wire. But, a ground wire causing the headlight to go is highly unlikely. Besides, if that was the case, you would be seeing the headlight on that side start to turn yellow whenever it has been operating for more than a minute or so (developing a voltage drop in the wiring, leading to the bulb not running at full voltage).
