Can anyone shed any light on this issue, surely someone has had this problem before.

Come to start in the morning it will fail first time coil light flashing but start 2nd time no issues and sometimes hot after being driven say if its left 10-15mins etc.
It runs for like 1-2secs and stops.

It will fluctuate sometimes its fine, sometimes it starts 1st time, sometimes it starts 2nd time so on and on and its been like this for quite a while.

Parts replaced

Clutch, flywheel and starter very recently.
Injector Seals.
Cam Sensor approx 2 years ago

Sometimes in the morning like this morning it failed to start first time, coil light flashing after it failed, but did start the 2nd time.

Diagnostics i found no codes stored on the ecu

I did mechanical diagnostics in the way off.

Removed the drive belt - turned it off and on again numerous times and it starts fine no issues.
Removed the belt and crank pulley again turned off and on again numerous times it starts fine no issues ?
Checked the crank pulley which seems fine no damage no knocks is not loose and is the uprated one.

any clue at all, it was suggested theres air in the fuel, but problem goes away if belt removed, just don't get it.

 

RESOLVED

The curve part of the metal fuel line near the fuel tanks had a pin hole puncture in it.

so i cut the corroded part out and put a rubber hose in place as a temporary measure.

now starts first time everytime.
