Hello all, I'm happy to be part of the Jaguar Forum. I always follow the trend about Jaguars but never signed up. But now I'm ready to share some information with the team, I have a 02 Jaguar X-type 2.5 I had it parked for over a year, I'm trying to get it ready for the winter so I put a new battery in it I tryd to start it it won't starts, so I try to start it with the starter fluid and the engine start, with out the starter fluid the car won't start, can someone advises me on what to do next.

 

hey buddy sorry to hear this.. 1s i would check 2 made sure your emergency fuel shut down was engages.. i had a 2001 s type did the same. Behind your driveside kick panel the fuel switch or red button check to make sure it is not in shut off mode
