Hello everyone, I hope someone could help me out.

Yesterday was driving and stopped at a red light, the car just stalled. This is a manual tranny and I had it on neutral. Turned it off and it would not start.

After a few tries then it starts and on the next red, the same thing happens again. This time it starts, however the red security light just on the center console starts blinking, when I changed gears it stopped for a few seconds and then started again.

Went to a friend's place and parked and it would not start after that.

I tried to reset by removing the battery for over an hour but still no joy.

I can lock, unlock the doors, windows all work. Fob also can lock and unlock the doors.

Anyone have this issue before?

 

I went back to the car today and I am not suspecting that it is a fuel pump problem. What makes me think so is that I tried to start it again and there is a noise that comes from the back and when outside the car, it seem more like in the fuel tank.

After trying several times, it starts and then cuts off again.

On the light that is on the middle console it seems the blinking has a sequence.... blinks once and then six times.

If anyone can decode what this means?

Just in case someone wants to know:

This was an electrical issue. The power distribution box was loose and when I bolted it back down, well everything came back up and no more issues. Been driving it now for three days and no issues.
