2002 x type front driver door actuator issue
Having a problem again with door lock. Sitting in car, pressing the lock to drivers door will not lock the other doors, nor will it unlock all the other doors when they are locked. Key fob will not lock either, but will unlock all doors. When I open the passenger door and try and lock it manually from inside door when it is open, it will not let me lock and then unlocks all doors. It feels as though my front drivers door actuator is not working? Also, when I lock the front drivers door with the key, it will not lock the other doors, nor will it unlock them after I have locked them from inside. I've juiced up the ignition barrel many times with WD 40. Key goes in an out easy and the little flap goes most of the way closed, but can still see a slight opening at the top of the flap. Recently I had the battery unplugged so wondered if that has something to do with it possibly?

The doors lock and unlock in sequence. Drivers door first passenger front next, passenger rear then drivers rear. If the passenger door lock is sticking it will throw off the sequence and the doors other than drivers will not operate properly.
Try spray lubing thru the passenger door locking mechanism and see if that helps.

Thanks, Vern. I sat in the the car this morning and just kept moving the lock unlock on the door handle and it finally started working again. It does seem like it may need some lubrication. I sprayed it in once about a month ago, but sprayed it all again just to make sure. We'll see if it stops working again. Thanks for the quick reply.

The other failure on dome members, has been the rod inside the door with the plastic clip has worn (common problem) which causes this failure. There are numerous posts on the forum for fixing this. Threading a nut on, using clamp down lead fishing sinkers, etc.
