2002 x type fuel pump
continuiation from my previous post, My car recently died on the highway and i have been making efforts to diagnose it for weeks.
when i spray starter fluid in the intake it starts for a second.
so i guess i have to replace the fuel pump.
any leads on where i can obtain one cheaply?
thanks in advance

The test for a fuel pump is definetly not spraying something in the intake.
Check if there is flow, and also check pressure.
Maybe something as simple as a broken fuse or wire, the roll over switch is tripped,
maybe, the computer has decided not to fire the injectors?
Fuel pump is expensive and a big job ot replace.
do some logical trouble shooting my man...
