2003 Jaguar X Type Incomplete CODES
My 2003 Jaguar X Type basic sedan. Living in New York State USA I need to pass inspection I have codes! The Garage said the wheel sensor codes don't matter the P1000 don't matter BUT
I have 3 INCOMPLETE codes that WILL NOT PASS I need at least 2 to be gone...they told me to put miles on it, that should make them go away...700 miles later and running out of time my inspection is due Oct. 31. ANY ideas how to make these "incomplete" codes go away??? (no check engine light)

P1000 is incomplete drive cycle(s) after clearing fault codes and/or MIL. After correct drive cycle(s), you get P1111.

The P1000 mainly shows that either the codes were cleared or the battery was disconnected - which and why? (This may be critical.)
In both cases P1000 should change fairly quickly - with a properly working car - to P1111 but if it doesn't then at least find out which monitors are not set.
I would fix any known errors, especially a wheel sensor as it may affect the car's ability to monitor road speed.
Generally, the cause of a P1000 wants finding out as it may be the best reason for the car's inability to move to P1111. You can get a Catch-22 where the car can't flag more codes due to the unset monitor(s) and thus also can't set it/them.
