Default 2007 jaguar xtype misfire cylinders 1, 3 and 5 and p1313 code.

I powerwashed my engine bay, and when I finished I recieved 3 misfires and usually they go away because well the water finally goes away. it's been a week and still missing. I've taken of the intake manifold changed the gaskets, sucked out the water, and clean out the spark plug chamber multiple times. I pulled a coil with a spark plug out to test the spark and it was sparking so I have no idea what it could be. I smell tons of gas. Cant go past 3000 RPMs.

Did you dry out the wiring looms and connectors?

DTC P1313 indicates bank A catalyst is probably damaged by raw fuel being burned inside the catalyst.

Correct the misfires before driving the vehicle any further as it may now need a new Bank A catalyst.

Did you learn a lesson about spraying out an engine compartment?

I've done it plenty of times. I'm quite sure it's because it's a jaguar.

My BMW's were the same eay. What really pissed me off was a "foreign car specially" shop did just that. Took them 2 days and some good old fashion greenbacks to fix what they screwed up. Needless to say, I changed shops after that event.
