King, when you find an interesting one, get the VIN and be sure to splurge on a CarFax report, it can save you alot of grief. From that you can see where it was bought and check up on the service history, at least in the beginning of it's life, and get an idea of how it was cared for.

You need to make a judgement call at that point. I found one I loved, and found from the CarFax report it had had 2 owners. The first had it for almost 4 years, serviced reasonably often at a Jag dealership and put 25k on it. The other used it as a commuter car for a year and a bit before trading it in, having put 35k on it. NO service records found. But when checked out by Jag (anothter idea for you) they found it needed just alot of wear and tear replacements, tires, brakes, etc. So I took the leap.

The one thing that was not communicated to me by Jag was the rims, they all needed replacement. I paid for these later, but be sure to check the rims out if they are originals. I read here that some rims were warrenty issues as they were a bit soft.

I got a great price on the car, so I wasn't too upset about it, but if you have a strict bidget for your car, then keep all this in mind when looking at them.

Happy shopping!!
