3 buttons ... I don't know what they do
Since new I have been trying to figure iut the three button switches marked A.MEM, TA. PTY. I think the TA is for traffic advisory when the radio is on, AND someone is broadcasting traffic advisory. I can't figure out (and the owners manual doesnt help) what the other two do. Anyone know what they are for? Thanks

I think PTY stands for program type, it's supposed to direct you to certain types of broadcast, Pop, Classical, News etc . . . As far as I'm aware! The A.MEM no idea, some sort of auto store perchance?
TBH The last time I used the radio was when I picked it up from the dealers on the way home, so these are just wild stab in the dark replies!!!

Easy
TA, traffic advisory, not available in U.S.
AMEM, automatic memory, stores the 9? strongest signals to your presets.
PTY, Partaay, push this button when you are partying and only disco and early Madonna will be allowed to play.
Just kidding, 06X is correct, program type, this is actually supported in the U.S. but good luck finding a programming market where enough stations actually broadcast their programming type to make the feature worthwhile. I have been in a few areas(Chicago, New York) where you could actually get news stations when news was selected but I've never seen it work with any other program type. Otherwise it appears useless.
