3 doors unlock problem RESOLVED
Hello,
I'm newbie here! I own Jaguar X-Type 2005 and i have problem with doors unlocking:
When i press lock on remote, i hear click sound on all doors, but when i want to unlock opens just drivers door and trunk. All another doors can't be opened from inside (can't pull clip) and outside. I tried to push open button twice on remote but still don't work. Also i tried to push both buttons for 4sec to change lock from double to single, it's changed, but still nothing happened.
There was few mystery times that doors worked properly and several times when doors opened just from inside (unlock clips was working).
Any ideas? Is there electronical or mechanical problem?
Thank you in advance!

spooler, from the sounds of things, it is a problem with the GEM getting the signal from the keyfob. I would first start off with standing in a single spot where you know the car is receiving the signal (lock/unlock the driver's door a few times). From this location, attempt to lock all 4 doors. Did they all 4 click? If yes, then attempt to unlock all 4 doors. if you only get 1 click (ie, driver's door), then you most likely have a problem with the driver's door lock position switch. The GEM is set up to sense when a door lock starts to move and will then start actuating the next door. The sequence is driver's front, passenger front, driver's rear, passenger rear.
Hope this helps some.

I thought that i solved the problem, but today happaned same thing. I tried to do what i done yesterday, but nothing changed. It seems that problem is more difficult than i thought. It happened when passanger got out of the car and then i lock, but when i tried to unlock, unlocked just driver's door...
Do you any suggestions? Is it possible that there is problems with GEM?

I've got this same exact problem on the same year and model. I replaced both doors on the driver's side due to collision damage, but the problem persists. It looks like spooler's problem has been resolved, but I'm not clear what resolved it.
Would my problem be the latch in the passenger's door?
If so, how can I prove it before replacing any parts?
