Hello, All.
I pulled a battery's cable off, during about 3weeks.
After that, "seat belt check light" came to do strange work
when I attached a cable again.
Before...
"Seat belt check light" in the speedometer lit up all the time,
while I didn't do a seat belt.
Then, when I attach a sheet belt, it disappeared
and when I removed a sheet belt, it lit up, too.
The light always did their operation.
But now...
"Sheet belt check light" disappears in ONE MINUTE
even if I'm not doing a sheet belt.
This is trouble obviously.![Frown](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
But, just to make sure...
How does "Sheet belt check light"
of your country's Jaguar work usually?

Well shouldn't the seat belt light go on when your not wearing your seat belt, and then when you are wearing the seat belt it should be dissapear.
I believe on my dad's newer jaguar it beeps occasionally when your not wearing your seat belt, but the light stays on.
This is not a serious problem is it, because seat belt warning does not seem to be to key to the functioning of a car, especially if you alays have it clipped.

Hi, 93xj6
About X-Type, the beep sounds first for six seconds.
But some "after parts" is noisy, and it is drown out.[&o]
Hi, bigdreams05
Was your car such a work from a beginning?
Was my car Americanized?![Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Hi, andersen06
Your car's light is lighted all the time.
I am envious of a normal thing.![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
By the way, your car is very beautiful!
Thank you!
