Abs/dsc/gearbox fault & car in limp mode
Hello everyone. I have a 2006 Jaguar x-type 3.0L awd with dsc. car has 114,000kms. Car encountered a problem about a month ago when I was driving on the highway. The car went into limp home mode. The Parking brake, gearbox fault, engine light, abs light and my speedometer stopped working as well. After driving the car home while in limp mode. I discovered the next day that a fuse was blown in the engine compartment. The fuse is f13 and it controls abs, dsc and traction. I put a new 5amp fuse in and after driving the car another 5 mins, the fuse blew out and I got the same lights on the dash again. and then everytime I'd put in a new fuse it would just blow out. I then took it to a british mechanic shop and they told me that fuse comes straight from the fusebox into the abs module and pump. I am so confused because I sent the abs module in for a rebuild and they said there is nothing wrong with the abs module. What else can it be guys? I have been car less for exactly a month now and it seems no one knows what the issue is. I need help!!! hopefully someone knows whats going on, thanks guys, please let me know
